Quantitative Validation of Gait and Swing Angles Determination from Inertial Signals system for activity monitoring of the elderly based on inertial sensors. It focuses on features connected to walk quality such as number of steps and the swing angle outlined by an ankle in the sagittal plane during walk. A measurement protocol is proposed, a validation method is described and the obtained results are discussed.

Application of Adjoint Sensitivity Analysis to Parameter Estimation of Age-Structured Model of Cell eity of the population, which is especially important for complex organisms with long reproduction time. The aim of this study was to develop a methodology to estimate parameters of the age-structured model of cell cycle using adjoint sensitivity analysis. Results were obtained for artificially generated input data.
