Scanning Electronmicroscopic Appearance of “Early” Lesions in Crohn’s Diseasely been designated as the “early” lesion of Crohn’s disease. There is no evidence documenting that the findings to be described are truly “early.” What will be discussed are “small” lesions of Crohn’s disease; small but in many instances at least recognizable macroscopically.
