Target parameters, could be argued that the results belong to the system rather than to the target, to a certain extent it is difficult to make a distinction but nevertheless the character of the target has to be considered in relationship to the imagery source.

With multi-spectral data as from Landsat or airborne multispectral scanners, interpretation is aided by the ability to interrogate the individual spectral scenes and view them in a variety of combinations for subsequent comparative analysis.
