Ten Years of Image Processing and Communicationsome reality in everyday matters. In this article authors present an overview of the trends and reflect on aspects discussed during the Image Processing and Communications Conferences taking place in Bydgoszcz, Poland during last 10 years. The paper aims to reflect on this great event and its scientific contents.

Air-Gap Data Transmission Using Backlight Modulation of Screen transmission that is not visible for human. The application of digital camera equipped and telescope allows data recovery during the lack of the user’s activity. Demodulation scheme with automatic selection of demodulation filters is presented. Different configuration of data transmission parameters and acquisition hardware were tested.

Half Profile Face Image Clustering Based on Feature Points based on a different local feature detectors like: Harris, BRISK, SURF, SIFT and FSIFT have been examined. For image clustering task the agglomerative hierarchical clustering procedure based on a dissimilarity matrix have been used. The achieved results have been compared to each other.
