Uniqueness of Strong Solutions in Infinitesimal Perfect Gradient-Plasticity with Plastic SpinA strain gradient plasticity model is motivated based on infinitesimal kinematics. The free energy is augmented by the curl of the non-symmetric plastic strain as a measure for the plastic incompatibility. Simulation of Elastoplastic Forming Processes Using Overlapping Domain Decomposition and Inexact NewIncremental metal cold forming is a forming technique using simple shaped, flexible tools moving on a CNC-path. These processes are in general very difficult to control. The aim of this contribution is to provide a partitioned solution scheme that will help to accelerate the implicit, quasi-static Finite Element simulation of such processes.

Numerical Approximation Techniques for Rate-Independent Inelasticitymations is discussed und the basis of Γ-convergence. It provides convergence of subsequences to true solutions under minimal regularity assumptions but gives no rates of convergence. Applications to elastoplasticity and damage are discussed.
