,Thrust Generation by a Hydrofoil Driven by Waves — A Basic Aspect of Wave Devouring Propulsion, ship in waves but also to reduce mean and slowly varying components of wave drift force acting on a moored platform in waves. In the present paper, some experimental results on two basic models are reported. One is a two-dimensional model and the other a three-dimensional one. Some theoretical discussion is also given to the former.
