Maternal Factors Affecting Lactationutcome have not been reviewed, although they would obviously fit within the purview of the topic. The main purpose of this paper is to categorize the types of maternal factors that have been hypothesized, or are known, to affect lactation, and to explore the links between sociobehavioral factors and the biology of lactation.
