Structure due to electron correlation effects in the energy dependence of high-energy ion-atom elecElectron correlation effects in electron capture in high-energy ion-atom collisions are discussed. Electronic processes in energetic ion-atom collisions,gh-energy accelerators. Experiments using projectile energies from about 10 keV/u to 1 GeV/u are treated. Collision induced electron emission of continuous electrons is considered under the specific aspect of the two-center Coulomb field created by the target and projectile nucleus.
