SIFTIR: Spectro-Polarimetric Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer for the InfraRed,n with TNTCAM2 (Klebe et al. 1998), an imaging polarimeter. The FTS component will enhance TNTCAM2, giving the instrument a maximum resolution of 2000 at 10 .m. The FTS is capable of operating between 2–15 .m, but polarimetry for the instrument is limited to the 8–15 .m region due to waveplate/wiregrid characteristics.
