Cosmic Ray Showerstrack belonging to a charged particle was observed to split into two tracks. The observations of showers led to the development of the electromagnetic cascade theory in the 1930s with the participation of many of the famous physicists of the time.

High Energy Neutrino and Gamma-Ray Astronomydetected the neutrinos from SN1987a and continuously monitors the emission of solar neutrinos in different energy ranges. Davis and Koshiba received the 2002 Nobel prize in physics for these observations.
