Theoretical Introduction,now been completed since a particle compatible with the SM Higgs boson has been recently discovered. Despite the remarkable agreement between the model and the experimental observations, it is reasonable to expect that the properties of the SM particles, such as the Higgs boson, could be perturbed by physics beyond our current understanding.
