A Gentle Introduction to Dynamic Memory, Linked Data Structures and Their Impact on Access Localitying their logical ones. In summary, this chapter tries to shine light on the question of how common is that applications that use dynamic memory are not able to benefit from the improvements brought by cache memories (and equivalent techniques).
