Wiebke Loosentocols toward MNPs. Various surface modification techniques are also presented to reach the demand of better MRI-based biomedicine applications. Further theranostic applications of these MNPs are finally discussed including magnetic targeting, controlled drug delivery, magnetic hyperthermia, and controlling of cell fate.
