Many-Body Theory of Nuclei and Nuclear Matter,ch as those associated with mesons or quarks and gluons, are absorbed into phenomenological nuclear forces. A vast amount of nuclear phenomenon can be understood from the resulting many-body theory, and in these lectures we will review some of the recent developments in it.
