https://doi.org/10.1007/978-1-4039-2000-3 has been steadily improving, but the pace has been slower than anticipated. The peak luminosity now exceeds that of Run I and sources of additional improvement to reach design goals have been identified and are being addressed. This paper summarizes the progress to date.
