Numerical Analysis and Experimental Study on Reinforcement Using PVC Rod in the Vicinity of Pressurize and an optimum length was found out. The optimum length was found out to be 2.5B, where B is the base of the footing. The test results reveal that the reinforcement using PVC rods improved the mechanical properties of the soil.
