Seafloor Geodesy Applied to the Study of Oceanic Spreading Centerse sites of large-scale tectonic strain and crustal accretion. Terrestrial geodetic approaches that do not rely on electromagnetic propagation have been directly adapted to seafloor use. An absolute gravity meter appropriate for measuring seafloor vertical deformation has been tested on the Juan de F

Test Results of FG5/112 Absolute Gravimeter at Wuhan Stationory (depth 22 m) of Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, with a very stable bedrock and a small temperature variation. The main purpose of this work is to test the accuracy and repeatability of FG5/112 meter. There are totally 14 measurements during the whole test period, about three times per month

Report on the 1995 Table-Mountain International Absolute-Gravity-Meter Intercomparisonthese observations alleviated environmental noise and gradient transfer problems that have degraded previous intercomparisons. Included in the intercomparison were three different types of gravimeters from seven different groups who measured over a three week period. The instrumentation involved in

Absolute Gravity Measurements Using FG5 at Kyoto Fundamental Gravity Station: Kyoto C, Japanty value was compared with recalculated values obtained earlier by another gravimeter, a GA60, and with existing values from the Japan Gravity Standardization Net 1975 (JGSN75) (Suzuki, 1974; GSI, 1976). The gravity values of the GA60 is found to be larger by about 20 microgals than that of the FG5.
