Optical observations of gravitational lenses,cases (essentially multiply imaged quasars and micro-lensed candidates. Preliminary results of lensing statistics applied to a sample of more than 200 highly luminous quasars are then presented both for the effectiveness parameter . of galaxies and for the density parameter .. of compact lenses to produce macro-lensed images of distant quasars.

Inverse Systems – Nanoporous Solidsde difference of ≤ 1.5 mag. Galaxy count statistics around 94 quasars with photometric data are analysed. Within radii of 6″, 10″, and 15″, and down to a Gunn . magnitude of 23, we find no significant enhancement of galaxy density over the background counts.
