Methods for the Study of the Dynamics of the Oort Cloud Comets I: Modelling the Stellar Perturbations,ods are checked against an accurate numerical integration using Everhart’s RA15 code. A random sample of stellar passages, simulating those su?ered by the solar system, but extrapolated over a time of 10(10) years, is created. For each model we measured the errors and their dependence on the encounter parameters.
