Genomic Organization,oreover,. and. genes have also been identified in algae, mosses, pteridophytes, and gymnosperms. Interestingly, CBL- and CIPK-type proteins have also been identified outside plant kingdom in protozoa. But, very little is known about the functional role of the CBL and CIPK in these species.
