Hydrostatische Schmierung und Lager,Hydrostatisch arbeitende Lager sind etwa seit der Mitte des vorigen Jahrhunderts bekannt. Im Jahre 1865 wurde dem Franzosen Girard ein Patent für ein solches Lager erteilt.
