Altitudinal Shift of the Equilibrium Line in Greenland Calculated from Heat Balance Characteristics depending on the gradient of cumulative accumulation. For a disturbance Sc = +100 kgm . the altitudinal shift of the equilibrium line amounts to −78 m < Δh < −48 m. Regions with negative gradient of cumulative accumulation react essentially more sensitive as regions with positive gradient.
