Numerical Solution of Two-Dimensional Shallow Water Flow with Finite Difference Scheme,how that this scheme easily captures hydraulic jump near upstream (within 3 m of channel span) without numerical oscillation. The results of the numerical experiment show that the MacCormack Predictor-Correction Scheme is working well with the 2D numerical experiment of hydraulic jump in a straight channel.
