These results suggest that several axes from the Borodino treasure were probably made from the Caucasus raw material supplied to the eastern Black Sea shops for further treatment.

Architecture of Kurgans with Mustaches of the Southern Trans-Urals (According to Soil and Archaeology. We conclude that constructing kurgans with “mustaches” did not require much labor despite their large scale. This conclusion is consistent with previous studies, where the stone material of kurgans with mustaches and the physical capabilities of the horse for its transportation were calculated.
