Wheat growth responses of cultivars to H+ concentration,ngths of shoots and roots were similar among the cultivars as the pH decreased. This indicated a uniform response of wheat cultivars to excess H. concentration in the soil solution; however, the decrease in shoot and root length was only about 50% as large as was previously reported for sorghum [.
