Beam particles can be accelerated to 10. provided that the beam channel medium behaves like an inductive circuit with high impedance. Enrico G. Beltrametti,Bas C. Fraassenhese results are then compared with the measured properties of the e. component of cosmic rays in the solar neighborhood. It is found that even though this component of the cosmic rays is a rather minor one in terms of either number or energetics, it is the component which appears best explained by known phenomena at the present time.
