Violent Video Games and Cognitive Processes: A Neuropsychological Approachddiction symptoms and their scores are measured on game addiction scale. We found significant effects of excessive video game playing on working memory, object recognition, and response inhibition, whereas no significant differences were found among the groups on emotional memory and visual spatial perception.
