Role of PET-CT in Hepatobiliary Diseases,Cancer cells have a high level of glucose metabolic activity and this forms the basis for the use of 18F-FDG PET-CT in oncology. There is increasing evidence of the usefulness of PET-CT in the assessment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic masses. We review the role of PET-CT in the evaluation of benign and malignant hepatobiliary diseases.
