Surgical Management of Craniocervical Dural Arteriovenous Fistula,otational CT angiography is useful for clarification of the angioarchitecture of these fistulas, including small feeding artery and venous varix. Surgical treatment by interruption of the intradural draining vein should be the treatment of choice for C1 spinal nerve DAVF.

Microsurgical Treatment of Perimedullary Fistulae, ischemic radiculomyelopathy or more rarely hemorrhage. Many are amenable to endovascular cure, but where this is not feasible, microsurgical disconnection provides as safe and highly effective alternative providing the angioarchitecture of the shunt is appreciated.
