A modal framework for structured logic programs,locks within a single language, the modal language. The main aim of this paper is to study the operational semantics of the language which integrates different kinds of blocks, to investigate how it can be used (and further extended) and to see how it compares to other logical languages proposed for dealing with blocks and modules.
