Introduction,China’s soil is seriously polluted by heavy metals! According to a national soil pollution survey by the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEC) in the first half of 2011, 20 million hectares of arable land, over one-sixth of the total arable land, was contaminated by heavy metals in China.
