An Influence Diagram Approach to the Diagnosis and Management of the Baltic Seapossible, rehabilitating the system. In this study Bayesian influence diagrams were used for this purpose. The analysis suggests that influence diagrams could become a useful tool in providing the scientific background needed for negotiations on the future of the Baltic Sea.
