The Remaining Endopterygote OrdersThe six remaining endopterygote orders dealt with in this chapter are quite distinct from those that form the panorpoid complex. Of the six, the order Hymenoptera appears most isolated phylogenetically and is sometimes considered in a distinct superorder, the Hymenopteroidea.
