,EMI Students’ “International Coexistence” at One Italian University,f national and international students in the teaching aims and practice. Data from the focus groups were analysed to explore how diversity affects learning in an international environment. Focusing on such topics might help raise awareness among stakeholders and benefit policymaking decisions.

These aims can be achieved if the SDGs are skilfully integrated, since they are so intimately aligned with the intended outcomes of the internationalization of higher education and EME.
