Arief Anshory Yusuf,Ahmad Komarulzaman demonstrated that it was not able to deliver the needs of design. We propose then to move the research on interactive media design from experience to engagement. In this chapter, we discuss how to make this move and present a pragmatic approach that will be followed to describe the model of engagement in the rest of the book.
