Remember your Humanityiest days I had a passion for science. But science, the exercise of the supreme power of the human intellect, was always linked in my mind with benefit to people. I saw science as being in harmony with humanity. I did not imagine that the second half of my life would be spent on efforts to avert a mortal danger to humanity created by science.

Of Men, their Minds and the Bombon has always used it in his profession of healing and saving life. The knife has also been used for centuries to take life. The killing with a knife itself has been undertaken often for a criminal purpose, whether premeditated or otherwise. The knife has also provided the choice to kill in self-defence.
