https://doi.org/10.5822/978-1-61091-230-3y designed curve-shaped fin can enhance heat dissipation rate by reducing the temperature at the base of the heat sink by up to 32 K when compared to that of traditional rectangular fin geometry. Hence, the newly proposed fin shape can offer better overall thermal performance.
