The catalysts displayed significant differences in initial reaction rate being the iron titania systems more active, specially when a higher extent of surface iron oxide species is present. After two hours on stream the conversion levels are similar in all the studied systems.

Catalytic Epoxidation of Cyclohexane on MCM-41 and Ti-MCM-41ctivity to the epoxide and a significant increase in the reaction rate as temperature increases, was observed. Important changes in the activation energy of the silylated Ti-MCM-41 compared to the Ti-MCM-41 was found.

Ceramic Compounds M2TinO2n+1 (M=Li,Na,K and n=2), Synthesis and Photocatalytic Propertiesatures and shorter reaction times than the solid state method. Lithium hexatitanate was only obtained by sol-gel technique. The materials prepared were tested as a photocatalysts on the 2,4-dinitroaniline decomposition reaction.
