Embodiment of Emotion Regulationon, i.e. the perception of the internal bodily cues. Secondly, we introduce two models of emotion regulation, the process model of Gross and the hierarchical neuro-cognitive model of Smith and Lane. Lastly, interoceptive abilities are discussed in the context of emotion regulation, and some clinical guidelines are provided.
