Experimental and Theoretical Investigations on the Dynamic Contact Behavior of Rolling Rubber Wheel in the measurements, a mechanical model for simulation is presented. The 2D model includes a structure model of the wheel body, as well as a contact formulation in normal and tangential direction reproducing sticking and sliding behavior, respectively. The results of the simulation are opposed to the measurements done with the moving test rig.
