The Writing of ,he manuscript to the nearly bankrupt London and National Society for Women’s Service, but the Society asked her to sell it for them in America. Unsuccessful inquiries were undertaken, and in the end Woolf was advised to try and sell the manuscript in England. There the matter seems to have dropped.
