Theory of Electron Spin Resonance,adicals or triplet state molecules except that the spin-orbit interaction is less important for s and p electrons. The treatment for rare earth metals is similar in principle but the fact that the crystal field is much smaller than the spin-orbit interaction for rare earths makes many of the details different.

Electron Spin Double Resonance Techniques and Saturation Transfer EPR,n transfer EPR (ST-EPR). It will briefly outline the principles of each technique in a phenomenological way. Some particular instrumental points will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on important applications in biological systems carried out in the past, and future possibilities will be outlined.
