Quantum-Mechanical Studies on the Conformation of Biomolecules,sidues of proteins and of the constituents of the nucleic acids. The theoretical results are compared with the conformations of the compounds and the corresponding biopolymers. Comparison indicates the superiority of the quantum-mechanical PCILO method over the empirical and simpler quantum-mechanical procedures such as EHT or CNDO/2.
