Introduction: Etiology, Presentation, and Diagnosis,Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dislocation is characterized by displacement of the mandibular condyle from the glenoid fossa that cannot be self-reduced. TMJ dislocation is rare and results in significant pain, malocclusion, and masticatory dysfunction leading to deformity and disability if not adequately addressed.
