Mechanics of Elastic Stress Transfer,l classic models of the micromechanics of stress transfer from the deforming matrix to the discontinuous fibres are discussed. The term elastic stress transfer process is used to refer to the mechanisms of stress transfer that regulate the mechanical response of the DFRC from initial loading until
