Damage Detection Using Experimentally Obtained Frequency Response Data with an Application of Artifcy response (displacement mode shapes) is insufficient to localize the damage. Artificial neural network training processes are utilized to reduce measurement error from the measured frequency response data set. Using central difference approximation, the training data sets are then used to generate the mode forms curvatures.
