Superfamily Monorchioidea Odhner, 1911tegument, complex terminal genitalia armed with spines, restricted vitelline follicles and well-developed uterine coils. According to the recent review provided by Madhavi (2008), the family contains 40 nominal genera distributed over 6 subfamilies.
