Overview: Personal Views on the Study of Auditory System Development,these studies have not changed, nor have the central problems we hope to solve. Before addressing some of the progress that has been made and the challenges that lie ahead, I will briefly summarize some of the reasons why we may want to investigate this subject and some general approaches.
