Emanuela Merelli,Anita Wasilewskat al. investigated the kinematics and statics of a kind of pantograph mast. They addressed the constraints of the joints by Lagrange multiplier method. In this chapter, the statics of rigid-body system of the stair mechanism is first developed, and then the inner forces of every link are analyzed.

A Refinement Proof for a Garbage Collectorsh the dynamic stiffness of the whole structure. The equivalent stiffness of the foldable tower is investigated as the function of deployment angle of the actuator.
