This system allows programming of haptic guidance patterns and cues for tactile graphics that can be experienced by students learning remotely or that can be reviewed by a student independently.

In this chapter, we begin to draft a pattern language, starting with four patterns to enable and control exploration, which we extracted from personal programming practice and experience.
